Full Moon in Taurus
On Wednesday, 11/5/2025, we will be blessed with the largest Supermoon of the year. This means shedding light onto the shadows, pulling from deep within, and grounding yourself in your ancient, primal energy. You are a being of this Earth, you are made from the exact energy that pulls this huge rock around space at however many miles per hour, at however many degrees.
This Full Moon calls on you to act, to believe, and to trust in yourself.
The beginning of Scorpio Season (Oct.23-Nov.21) is always shaky. We are like baby deer on new legs being pulled to all the new delights of sight, sound, and smell. Everything is shiny, bright, and exciting, and you want to take it all in then and there. We begin to sense, and sense deeply. That is what Scorpio is here to teach us. And there is nothing wrong with that! Let your curiosity fly as you are pulled in every direction. You might be surprised at what will stick!
As we approach this Full Moon, not only is it the closest to Earth this year, but it is also one of immense clarity and grounding. This Full Moon brings us into a hibernative state, one that calls us to bed down, put our hands into the Earth, and feel something. Remember how I asked you to sense in every direction, and take note of your callings? Well… What did stick with you? What are some sights, sounds, and/or smells that have come up for you over the past few weeks? Maybe it’s a word, a name, or a place that keeps crossing your consciousness. What patterns can you make of these crossings?
Taurus is deeply connected to the physical realm, the Earth, the dirt, sand, rocks… It represents a no bullshit-you get the horns type of vibe. Hitting things head-on, so whatever you have been ignoring might just come and hit you like a ton of bricks. But, fear not, for there is light at the end of the tunnel… specifically, Our Moon; our connection to ourselves, the direct line to our consciousness. Listen closely and transcend.
Over this week, try lighting a white candle with your intention. Maybe it’s the same word or phrase that has been calling to you over the past few weeks. Maybe it’s part of a song stuck in your head, or a piece from your favorite poem, or just a moment of silence to listen. You might find yourself outside, under the Moon in a Moon Bathing Ritual (kinda like sunbathing, with none of those harsh UV rays). You may even find yourself near a body of water, or holding your palms around a glass of water from your kitchen sink. Each of these Rituals act as a cleansing of your inner consciousness, a way to reorganize your mind and spirit, making room for a cozy period of rest and revitalization.
